Features of Japanese Traditional Culture ‘OMAMORI’

01
Choosing colors for the logo and shrine name, and stamp.

You can customize the colors of the logo and shrine name and stamp them.
There are a total of 12 different ink options.

Multi colored ink pads are also available, and the appearance and mood of the Omamori will change depending on where the stamp is placed, allowing you to create a truly unique one.

This makes your Omamori more personal and special, allowing you to imbue it with your deeper thoughts and wishes.

02
Tying a lucky red-white colored beard to a 5yen coin and placing it inside.

You will receive a lucky red and white beard, which you will tie three times around the 5yen coin inside the Omamori.

Tying it three times adds up to 8 (5 + 3 = 8), symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.

*Number 8 is considered as a lucky number in Japan because when you write it in Japanese(八), the character spreads widely towards the end expressing a sign of prosperity and good fortune.

About Red and White

There is a legend in the Nihon Shoki (The Chronicles of Japan) that during the birth of Empress Jingū, red and white banners descended from the heavens, and since then, these colors have been considered symbols of good fortune.

03
Write your wish on a wish sheet and place it inside the Omamori.

Write your heartfelt wish on the wish sheet, filled with your thoughts and wishes, and place it inside the Omamori

Three items will be placed inside the Omamori:
①A sacred charm
②A 5-yen coin tied with a lucky red-white beard
③The wish sheet

04
Stamp your name or initials and numbers.

You can personalize your Omamori by stamping your name, initials, or favorite characters or numbers in the color of your choice.

By stamping name, initials, or numbers in your chosen color, the Omamori becomes even more special and personal. You can also include the name of your loved one if you prefer.

05
Change the string of Omamori to your chosen color.

The base string color is red, but you can change it to a color of your choice.
This string symbolizes the connection between your wish and the bond with someone important to you.

Choose your own unique color to create a special connection. In addition to red, we offer three more color options: white, orange, and purple.

06
Place Omamori creation certificate to the main shrine.

As proof of creating your Omamori, we will provide you a certificate sheet. Please write the date, your name, your wish, or words of gratitude on the sheet, and place it to the main shrine.
